Landscape Interior Contracts Manager

Job Description

This position requires a skilled individual who has a minimum experience of 5 years collecting, stratifying, and geminating shrub, tree and herbaceous seedlings. This individual will develop and maintain our seeding program while working in other areas of our propagation department over the year. Opportunity to shadow a propagator with over 25 years experience the applicant will learn the ins and outs of soft and hard wood propagation and be involved with expanding our top and bench grafting programs.

Accountabilities
Responsible for ensuring that the proper staging is done in order to maintain a viable crop at all times. Ensure that all material is free of pests and diseases and report all problems to the Crop Technician, making sure to monitor and follow-up where necessary. Planning and accurate record keeping of plant stock inventories.
Inventory and order supplies as needed Organizing and ensuring all associated materials are prepared for the day's activities. Organizing and motivating crews to be productive, safe, and organized in their daily activities.
